Designed for everyone

For every generation

Built to be read, heard and shared.

Large type, high contrast, view-only invitations and spoken Hindi relationship labels help elders participate without learning a new system.

Indian kinship engine

“Uncle” is not a relationship.

Every Indian bond carries a side, generation and role. Ancestric calculates the relationship from the tree and can present the term your family actually uses.

मौसी

Your mother’s sister—not your father’s sister, not a generic aunt.

Paternal sideताऊ जी

Tau-ji

Regional terms are a starting point; each family can keep the name it uses at home.

How it works

Start with three people.
Let the family grow it together.

  1. 01

    Plant the first branch

Add yourself, your parents and one grandparent. Ancestric turns those connections into the first view of your tree.

  2. 02

    Invite the right people

Share a private invitation with the relatives who know each branch best. Choose whether they can edit or only view.

  3. 03

    Turn names into a legacy

Add stories, dates and documents over time. The archive becomes richer without making the tree harder to use.

Family trust first

Your family is not an audience segment.

No behavioural advertising. No selling family data. Sensitive details are visible only to the family circles you choose.

Questions

Before you start the family tree.

Is Ancestric available to everyone?

Yes. Anyone can create an account with a secure email code and start a private family tree. Google sign-in is being connected as an additional option.

Will it always be free?

Ancestric is free to start. If paid plans are introduced later, families will see the price and terms before making any decision; there will be no surprise charge.

Can relatives view the tree without editing it?

Yes. Family circles distinguish administrators, close family, extended family and view-only access.

What languages are supported?

The interface is currently English with Devanagari support in names and kinship labels. Additional Indian-language interfaces are in development, not yet generally available.

Can I export or delete our data?

Assisted export and deletion requests are available. Some information may be retained where law requires it; the privacy notice explains the process.
