Using Ancestric

Ancestric is an early-access family archive operated by Pinegrass Technologies Pvt Ltd. You must be legally able to enter these terms and provide accurate account information. Keep your account secure and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.

Family administrators

Administrators control invitations, privacy circles, edits, and documents in a family space. They must invite only appropriate people, respect relatives’ privacy, and have the necessary permission or lawful basis for personal information they add.

Your content

You retain rights in content you submit. You give us a limited permission to host, process, back up, and display it only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve Ancestric. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Do not use Ancestric to harass or discriminate, publish unlawful content, impersonate others, expose identity documents without authority, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape family data, or interfere with the service.

Sensitive and legal records

Ancestric helps families organize information; it does not verify relationships, identity documents, inheritance rights, religious calculations, or legal status. It is not a substitute for legal, financial, genealogical, or religious professional advice. Keep original official records.

Early-access availability

Features, limits, and pricing may change during early access. We may suspend features for maintenance or security and cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Material changes will be communicated through the service or available contact information where practicable.

Ending access

You may stop using Ancestric at any time. We may suspend or end access for misuse, security risk, non-payment after paid plans begin, or legal requirements. Administrators may request an assisted export before deletion, subject to reasonable verification, retention duties, and backup cycles.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ancestric is provided without implied warranties. Pinegrass Technologies is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and total liability is limited to the amount paid for Ancestric in the twelve months before the event giving rise to a claim.
